When they are that small they almost look like bats! lol. sweet that you bottle fed and fostered them. We tamed a bunch of ferals in the neighborhood and couldn’t resist but keeping one. (actually, we have two from the ‘hood…our neighbor bottle fed our middle ‘child’ from a different litter last year). We have quite the posse now :-) Let me know if you want a link to the middle one’s easy-to-read photoblog. She’s quite a character.

And you two had a wonderful relationship. I can see that you, like me, consider animals to be every bit as much ‘friends’ and ‘family’ as people can be. They have such sweet souls and are capable of non-judgemental love. I have a 16.5 yr old cat named Samantha who we’ve had since birth. (hers, haha). She sleeps in my arms every night. When she goes, they are going to have to find a room and a straight jacket for me.
